Description:

Dodecyl primary amine, also known as 1-aminododecane, laurylamine, or dodecylamine, is a colorless or white crystalline substance. This product exhibits weak alkalinity and can form salts with inorganic or organic acids. Can be quaternized. Reacts with epoxy ethylene ring and can be acetylated. It can be added to unsaturated hydrocarbons. Peroxides can oxidize this product. React with halogenated carboxylic acids to form zwitterionic compounds. Reacting with carboxyl chloride can generate amide. It can undergo Mannish reaction with nucleophilic reagents or phenols to generate multifunctional compounds. React with hydrochloric acid to produce dodecylamine hydrochloride.

Used for producing surfactants, mineral flotation agents, dodecyl quaternary ammonium salts, fungicides, pesticides, emulsifiers, detergents, etc;
